Oasis  for the Summer -We are thinking of making the grassy area beside the church into an oasis for walkers, cyclists to stop, have a water break as well as those of us in summer months to enjoy a coffee or cool drink.
We will need lawn chairs that are no longer used but still in good condition.
We would also ask that you could think of providing a weatherproof bench in memory of a loved one.
Please contact Linda Smith at
smith_l@videotron.ca

On May 5, all of our parish’s Lay Readers will be away at their annual Retreat in Châteauguay, at which Grace will be also present as the Warden of Lay Readers. Thank you to Terry Hidichuk for presiding again and preaching this time as well!

 Project Updates

Stained Glass Windows/ AV Booth Update - It's a go!
Thanks to your donations, the thoughtfulness of the Fetherstonhaugh family and the savings in the Memorial fund, this project is going ahead. Not only are we able to install those gorgeous windows and new Zoom booth,  the room will be getting a "mini face lift." We will be painting, adding new electrical outlets and updating the lighting. This should make it a much more useful meeting room.

Kitchen Renovation-  Our long awaited Kitchen renovation begins next week and is expected to last through to the middle of August.
Please note the downstairs bathrooms will be accessible, but we ask that you consider the kitchen area completely off limits for both safety and practical  reasons. (Wet paint or uncured cement etc.)
We will be taking pictures throughout the process, so keep your eye out for  the Weekly Email.
