Omega Community Resources is a non-profit community organization that provides support and assistance to adults living with mental health problems in the West Island of Montreal. WHO WE ARE Our professional team offers services at our three locations in a supportive, welcoming and respectful manner. We strive to make a positive difference in the lives of our clients through our programs and activities. Each point of service plays an essential part in the lives of many and throughout our community. DAY CENTRE The Day Centre is situated in Dorval and is open 6 days a week. We provide educational and recreational activities as well as stimulation and socializing opportunities. Support, counseling and interventions are also available when necessary. GROUP HOME Our Group Home is a large, 3 story residence which accommodates up to eight residents in individual bedrooms. At the Group Home we offer the following services:  24 hour/day supervision and staff availability  Case management  Intervening with community treatment providers  Crisis prevention and management  Assistance in medication management  Resident goal planning (ISP and Intervention planning)  Assistance with daily independent living skills and activities  Advocacy at medical and or mental health appointments as needed. SUPERVISED APARTMENTS Located in Pierrefonds the supervised apartments, in partnership with Résidences Omega, offers tenants long term independent housing, while still having access to support through the staff on site. There are 28 3-½ fully furnished subsidized apartments. The building also has a community recreation room equipped with a kitchen.
