WHAT'S NEW?
Languages for Pentecost- We’d love to have as many languages as possible read during worship on May 24! If you can read in a language other than English and French (independent speaking ability not necessary), let Grace know!
Messy Church -The next Messy Church is June 5, 5:30 pm– the last session before the summer break. Dinner is provided! All welcome! Sign up to help bring food.
Choir Practice - Chris has just announced that the last choir practice will be May 28th. Practice will resume again on Sept 10.
Can You believe It? Our annual Garage Sale is only a month away! On Sat. June 2 from 9-2 we will be firing up the B-B-Qs, breaking out the home baking, and offering incredible treasures for sale. This is a major fundraising event, so we will be going ahead rain or shine.
Your Help is the Key to our success. If you can bake, donate some time behind the scenes, or work on sale day, please contact; Marie-Claude Martz at marieclaudemartz@gmail.com or Phyllis Hidichuk phidichuk@bell.net.
Donations including house plants (new) are welcome to be dropped off from Tues - Friday 9:30 - 3:30, or Sunday before the 10:00 service.
Make Sure to tell all your friends to mark it on their calendars and remind them we take take Debit as well as cash!
Last Call for Donations to Auberge Madeleine -They are asking for toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, lip balm, hand cream, purell, nail clippers, tweezers, hair accessories, brushes & combs. Donations can be placed in the box as you enter the main church. Thank You!
The Fourth Annual Bike Blessing will take place after church on May 17. Bring your bikes, and invite your friends!
The St. Michael's Food of the Month is Crackers & Jam. Don't forget they are still collecting clean yogurt containers and empty pill bottles with lids. Please make sure to remove any pharmacy labels. They use the yogurt containers to make "carry out" meals and the pill bottles to portion out shampoo, hand cream, and other personal use items.
Men's Breakfast- Saturday May 16, 2026. The next breakfast will be on Saturday May 16. It will be coordinated by Garth Saint John. We will begin cooking at 08:00. If you are coming to help set up that will happen at 08:30. Eating will happen at 09:00. Clean up will follow the end of conversation. Please advise me of your plan to participate by Tuesday, May 12. This will help me to arrange the shopping. Richard Young has offered to help Garth with preparation but another cook would be helpful.

Chat and Craft Group: If you are 14 or older, please join us from 7-9 in the loft. This is an informal fellowship that will meet on the third Monday of the month. We'll be starting out with enjoying each other's company, but our long term goal is to see if we can develop crafting into something that could support one of our charities, be sold at our events, or simply enjoyed by the group. Christian Formation – Bible study, discussion, other forms of education – EVERY SUNDAY from 8:45-9:30 am. Between now and Easter, the sessions will alternate between Confirmation Class and a series led by the Rev’d Canon Jim Pratt about the theology behind our favourite hymns.

Morning/Breakfast Reflections - A new season begins; on May 1 we began reading the book of Acts. Also, we will read the psalms in order until they are all read. 'Reflections" begins at 8:30 am and lasts until 9:00 am, Monday to Friday.
