WHAT'S  NEW?
 

This Week We Received a Letter from a man in Washington D. C. named Frank Nickerson. He was in New York clearing out his mother's home and came across some "memories" his mom had saved.  She was a part of the St. Marks community in the 1960's and was married here on Nov 18, 1961.  Unfortunately Frank didn't include the name of his parents with his note, but its nice to know  some connections can last a life time.  Click on the links below for more

The Annual Backpack Blessing and Welcome Back Brunch* will take place on September 13!
*We hope that having a Brunch rather than a BBQ will mean fewer wasps than last year …
 

Weekly Sunday Morning formation time will resume on September 20, with  Rev'd Alex leading! 8:45-9:30 AM, suitable for ages 8 and up.

West Island Ride/Walk team in support of Action Réfugiés Montréal  is happening on Saturday October 3rd. Christ the Redeemer Lutheran Church and Ste-Geneviève United Church are again organizing a team to ride and walk to raise money for Action Réfugiés Montréal. Registration at 10:00 am, ride/ walk  at 11:00, lunch served at Church of the Epiphany Anglican the church at noon.

Chat and Craft Group:   If you are 14 or older, please join us from 7-9 in the loft. This is an informal fellowship that  meets on the third Monday of the month. We'll be starting out with enjoying each other's company, but our long term goal is to see if we can develop crafting into something that could support one of our charities, be sold at our events, or simply enjoyed by the group. Bring your crafts & ideas and we'll see you there!  Questions?

Morning/Breakfast Reflections - We are presently reading the Gospel of Luke and later this month will begin to read Genesis. We are continuing to read through the psalms in order." 'Reflections" begins at 8:30 am and lasts until 9:00 am, Monday to Friday.
