WHAT'S NEW?
Front Door - The front door lock has finally been changed. What began as a project to fix an issue with a cranky lock, turned into a grumpy battle between two 70 year old doors and new technology. Eventually, (8 months later) a truce was reached and we are proud to announce that we have a keyless entry system, wheelchair accessible threshold and handicap buttons to open and close the door.
If You Have a Key, please return it to the office or put it back through the mail slot
If You Still Need an Entry Code, contact the office at 514-631-3601
New! Communauto -You will notice when you come in the parking lot that there is a spot ( second on the left) that has a sign saying "No Parking, - Communauto".
Starting April 1st, the church is renting out this one spot to Communauto, a car rental service. Please be respectful and don't park there. This includes evenings, weekends and holidays, thank you.
20 x 20 Campaign Update
Laura Hill has agreed to lead a team called ‘Food & Fellowship’ to help raise money for the 20x20 campaign. She is looking for volunteers to join the team to help brainstorm ideas and to help make them a reality. Some ideas so far include Bake Sales, Pie Sales, selling of individual portioned meals, high-end dinner in the chapel, high tea in the chapel, lemonade/ice cream stand during summer heat waves. If you are interested in joining the team, please advise Laura Hill (email llhill@gmail.com or 514-694-6255). The first meeting will be held after Easter.
Team Members currently include Darlene Scott, Grace Lavigne, Nancy & Ross Hamilton, Mary-Ann Wood, Yvonne Wakeland, Terry Sheppard. If you’ve already volunteered to join this team and your name is not listed, please remind Laura H (as she misplaced her paper!). Thanks!
What can you do? You can join an existing fundraising group or come up with an idea of you own. How about making things to sell at the next garage sale or auctioning off babysitting services to your neighbours? How about doing some pet walking?
Make your plans, then stay in touch with Marie-Claude Martz or Laura Hill. They are happy to provide support and answer your questions. Marie-Claude Martz at marieclaudemartz@gmail.com (514)-261-2364 or Laura Hill llhill.mtl@gmail.com (514) 694-6255
If you would like to make a financial donation,
