Special Vestry Meeting
According to the Canons of the Anglican Diocese of Montreal, a Special Vestry Meeting may be called by the Corporation. Such a meeting requires:
The meeting be convened to discuss a single subject only, and
Notice must be given during two consecutive church services.
Your Corporation is hereby calling for a special Vestry Meeting to be held after the 10:00 am service on Sunday, May 25, 2025. This is the first official notice of this meeting.
The sole purpose of this meeting is to ratify the decision to proceed with the roof repair, as discussed at the Capital Campaign planning meeting on May 10.
For the convenience of all, this announcement will be posted on the notice board in the Narthex.

Donations -We are still collecting donations of books, DVDs/CD’s, toys/games, working small appliances, working electronics, linens, glassware, home decorations, kitchenware and the like. No clothing or shoes please. Small furniture is acceptable, but please bring it on the Friday before the sale, as we have storage restraints.
Donations can be brought to the church Tuesdays - Fridays (9:30 – 3:30) or on Sundays, and placed in the cloakroom, far left corner. We will be periodically storing donations downstairs to make room for more.
If you have any questions, or you are eager to join the team, contact Marie-Claude Martz at 514-261-2364 or marieclaudemartz@gmail.com. As well as your donations, we welcome your time and talents. There will be a sign-up sheet in the church entrance for anyone interested in helping out the day of the sale.
St Michael's Mission - For the month of May the Mission is requesting toothbrushes, toothpaste and disposable razors
June 1: Parish Potluck BBQ following the 10 am service. Hamburgers & hot dogs will be provided; contributions of other items are needed. Also, a volunteer is needed to coordinate the event as well as volunteers to set-up, BBQ, serve and clean-up. The Big Choir Sing-Off is being held on Nov 1st St. Joachim Church, Pointe Claire. This Fundraiser is in support of the Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation.
Christ Church Beaurepaire - A regular West Island Youth Group has started up. We gather on the final Friday of the month, from 6-8:30 PM, at Christ Church Beaurepaire. Ages 11-17 are welcome. Ways to Donate to Support the Work of All Saints by the Lake
If making your gift into the plate at any service (weekly, monthly, or occasional), enclose your cheque or cash in an envelope with your name and (ideally) number, directing its use as you desire (i.e. General, building, special project or mission, etc.). Guest envelopes in the sanctuary may be used for this purpose. Your unused giving envelopes from previous years may also be used (just change the date).
If making your gift from home, you have several options:
