WHAT'S NEW?
St. Michael's Mission - The final day to donate to St. Michael's Mission Christmas Campaign is Jan 4 . They are looking for donations of personal care items such as tooth brushes, tooth paste, deodorant, combs, shampoo, body soap, razors etc. Scarves, socks, mitts, long underwear, hats and gloves can be put under the tree in the coatroom.
St. Michael's Mission - The January donation request is salad dressing
Annual Vestry Reports - If it's your responsibility to write and submit an annual report for your ministry, they are due to the office by Jan 6, 2026 . Although the Annual Vestry isn't until Feb 8th , the office needs time to assemble all the information and issue a "proof " ahead of time. Thank you
Messy Church- The next Messy Church will be January 9 (note it’s the second Friday of the month, not the first). If you’ve never attended, come check it out! It's Aimed at ages 3-10, but ALL are welcome – babies, teenagers, parents, grandparents, friends!
It runs from 5:30-7:30 PM, with a Bible story, activities, and dinner
Starting January 18, there will be opportunities for Christian formation – Bible study, discussion, other forms of education – EVERY SUNDAY from 8:45-9:30 am. Stay tuned for details!
Ceiling & Lighting Project - We will be starting the downstairs ceiling, lighting and office project on Wed Jan 7.
It is expected to take about 6 weeks, but we'll keep everyone up to date as things unfold.
Lost & Found - Please check the lost & found basket in the coatroom for anything you might have misplaced. We have accumulated water bottles, a bike helmet and other assorted items. Anything not claimed by Jan 4 will be donated to St. Michael's Mission or other charity.
On January 20, from 7:30-9:30 pm, Sydney Brouillard-Cole, founder of the organization Rainbow Allyship, will lead an interactive session on how we as a congregation can be fully affirming of LGBTQ+ people. We are a wonderful, welcoming group but there’s always more to learn, and as we prepare to hang the Pride and Survivors’ Flags in front of the church, we want to make sure we’re prepared to back up those promises with action! Everyone who attends will learn something new. Please plan to come out to All Saints by the Lake (or tune in on Zoom)! Detail's to follow.
Here Comes the Sun - An Epiphany retreat & book study of crisis, light & hope. All Saint's is hosting this event on Saturday Jan. 31 from 8:30-2:00 pm. Click on the link for more details.
