Stewardship Brunch -The third annual Stewardship Brunch will be held after church on October 25. This is a "Potluck" event so please bring a food to share that doesn't require heating. Some suggestions: Salad, cheese & crackers, veggie or fruit tray, cold cuts, rolls, pickle tray, or sweets.
All Saints’ Sunday is on November 1! Bring pictures of your loved ones who have died to place on the altar of saints. INCENSE WILL NOT BE USED AT EITHER SERVICE THIS YEAR. Our annual Patronal Evensong will be held at 4:00 PM that same day.
Christmas Pageant- Believe it or not, the Christmas Pageant is coming up on Dec 20!! If you’d like to participate, let Rev'd Grace know. The script will be exactly the same as last year. All ages welcome!

The Montreal Dio is starting its fall online course, “Witness in the World: Theologies & Practices of Invitation”, on Tuesday, Oct. 20 at 7 pm. The parish will register as a group and share the link.
"Come & See" The Fellowship of Saint John is comprised of nearly 1,000 men and women throughout the world who desire to live their Christian life in special association with the Society of Saint John the Evangelist. Those who look to the Society of Saint John the Evangelist for encouragement and inspiration in following our Lord Jesus Christ, and who seek to abide in him by living an ordered life of prayer and service in fellowship with the brothers, may seek to become members of the Fellowship Members of the Fellowship seek to live an ordered life of prayer and service in association with the Society, and follow a Rule of Life which expresses a common commitment to faithful discipleship. Weekly Sunday Morning Formation Time takes place Sunday mornings in the Loft from 8:45-9:30 am with Rev'd Alex leading. The theme is “Food for the Journey" and is suitable for ages 8 and up. Bring your Bible.
Chat and Craft Group: If you are 14 or older, please join us from 7-9 in the loft. This is an informal fellowship that meets on the third Monday of the month. We'll be starting out with enjoying each other's company, but our long term goal is to see if we can develop crafting into something that could support one of our charities, be sold at our events, or simply enjoyed by the group. Bring your crafts & ideas and we'll see you there! Questions?

Men's Breakfast -The plan is to host a breakfast in the next 6 months on the following Saturdays: There is no breakfast in November because of the Christmas Bazaar. Please plan to offer your help to the bazaar coordinators that day. Future dates are October 17, December 19, January 16, 2027, February 20, 2027
Morning/Breakfast Reflections - "We finished reading the book of Hebrews on Thursday and have now started reading a selection of minor prophets from the Old Testament and will continue these until advent begins, when we will return to readings from the lectionary until Epiphany. We are continuing to read through the psalms in order. "Reflections" begins at 8:30 am and lasts until 9:00 am, Monday to Friday. Dorval Community Aid - We support the Dorval Community Aid Food Pantry by collecting non-perishable food items.
Milk Bags - Save the outer bags of the 3 pack, bagged milk. Summerlea United weaves them into mattresses for the homeless. It takes about 500 bags to make a single mattress!
St. Michael's Mission - The Food of the Month is Breakfast Cereal . There is also an ongoing need for new underware, socks, and belts. Don't forget to donate clean yogurt containers and your empty pill bottles ( with personal information removed)
Omega Centre - Seasonal
The Well - Sponsored by the Anglican Diocese of Ottawa, this soup kitchen is collecting empty bread, hamburger, hot dog bun, pita bread or bagel bags. They use them to package breakfast for their clients.
